Quilter's Refuge is your one stop quilt shop! We are located in Northern Alabama in Decatur, and now here, online. We love fabric, quilting, quilts and their history. We carry everything you need to get started on a quilt project including notions, fabrics, thread, patterns, backings, flannel, batting, and helpful advice from our wonderful employees.
We carry fabrics from Moda, Andover, Bali, Blank, Hoffman, Timeless Treasures, Windham, Kaufman, Henry Glass, P&B Textiles, Benartex, RJR, Wilmington Prints, Fabri-Quilt, Red Rooster, In The Beginning, Marcus Brothers, Michael Miller, Studio E, Makower, and many others! We also carry thread from Presencia, Superior Threads (King Tut and Masterpiece by Alex Anderson), Mettler, and Guterman.
We feature cute quilt kits with gorgeous fabric. We sponsor two quilting retreats a year where you can do a mystery quilt and sew with friends. We love supporting our local quilt guilds. If you'd like to see a little of the beautiful North Alabama countryside and see some beautiful fabric then make sure to visit us in Decatur.

If you need your sewing machine repaired and don't have the time to drive to Muscle Shoals, then bring it by the shop! We have partnered with Ken's Sewing Center to provide a drop off point for any kind of sewing machines. Drop it off by Wednesday evening at 6 and have it back here on the following Wednesday.
